Having trouble taking out or tightening screws into hard wood. Not with the 6-1 or ratcheting screwdrivers. The handles are almost 8" long and provides the torque to do the job. The 6-n-1 has a double sided shaft that provide four of the most popular screwdriver tips including #1 Phillips, #2 Phillips, 3/16"Bits, and 1/4" Slotted Bits. The ratcheting has a #1 Phillips bit. Both ends of the 6-n-1 shaft can conveniently be used as 1/4" and 3/16" nut drivers and the ratcheting a 1/4 nut driver when the bits are removed. The handle is hand turned from Walnut.

I’m the craftsman behind J. B. Hardwoods, and for me the process starts in my work shop just outside of Tampa, FL. To make the screwdriver handles I pick the choices woods, the one shown being walnut. I turn the wood to a cylinder, then leave a 7/8" tang about an inch wide at the tip. A stainless steel feral fits over the tang. I then shape the contour of the handle to its final design. Sanding it smooth on the lathe provides a smooth finish. I then apply a sealant wax to give it a high gloss shine.
